Fretto Industrial Cleaning Gives Back!
A nonprofit foundation based in New York, assists veterans from around the nation who are suffering from psychological disorders, such as post-traumatic stress, by connecting them to race horses that are no longer competing. They offer veterans a three-day experience that has proven to be effective and invaluable for those struggling to adjust to life after military service. Through their Connection Process, an interactive experience is created between off-the-track Thoroughbreds and veterans. By utilizing the silent language of the horse, a mutual trust and profound bond is established that goes beyond verbal communication. The program is provided at no cost to the veterans.
Warriors on wheels is a nonprofit that focuses on what you CAN do, not what you can’t do. Ned Norton has been the strength behind Warriors on Wheels since 1988. After Ned’s impressive career as a personal trainer and Olympic weight lifter, he discovered a passion for helping to train those with major disabilities. To this day, Ned has not only provided strength training to hundreds of people in Upstate New York, but he encourages and empowers those who would not have the opportunity to work out in a typical gym. Warriors on Wheels is currently working on The Hercules Project. The Hercules Project sends free fitness/rehab equipment around the work to individuals with disabilities, group homes for the disabled, landmine survivors and to war torn areas that offer little or no rehabilitation services. These sessions are provided at little to no cost. Warriors on Wheels is a great organization solely designed to help those with disabilities. Fretto Industrial Cleaning is a proud to be a supporter of Warriors on Wheels and Ned’s mission to help those in need. If you would like to donate, click the link below!
